We had a busy weekend again this weekend. It was the church sports day although we didn't really do any sports because we were busy watching the kids. One of our church members has a special talent performing as a clown/magician. He performed in front of the kids and entertained them.

We then had a big gathering at Philip & Jean's house. It was probably the biggest gathering I have attended ever. There were more than 50 people in the house. Adults had enjoyed catching up with each other, and kids had tons of fun playing in the backyard/play room! There're so many toys to play =) Thanks to Philip & Jean for hosting.

Melissa actually went to Jean's house for two days this past Thursday and Friday because her school was closed. Melissa had a lot of fun with Ryan and Owen. She cheers everytime I say we are going to Ryan and Owen's house! She is also a lot more independent now and is comfortable staying at their house by herself.

Fun Time at Jason & Felicia's Home

One of our very good friends, Jason & Felicia recently moved to Sunnyvale, and tonight we had a casual gathering with some church friends at Jason & Felicia's house. We had a lot of fun catching up, and kids also enjoyed playing in the backyard. Thanks to Jason & Felicia for hosting a wonderful get together like this.

Sandy's Company BBQ

Sandy's company had a company wide picnic this past Saturday. It was at Saratoga Springs, a camp ground/picnic place 1/2 way up the Saratoga hills. We went there and had a good time. Melissa especially enjoyed the outing since there was plenty of things for kids to do there. They even set up a mini-petting zoo.

Melissa was a little shy and unsure about the petting zoo at first and wouldn't go into it. But after watching other kids in there petting the animals, she eventually decided it was safe to go inside. Then, we had a hard time to get her to come out :)

They also had face/body painting booth setup. Melissa got a rainbow painting on her arm.Afterwards when I asked her what was her favorite part of the picnic, she told me the petting zoo and the popsicle. Yes, she got to eat a whole big popsicle although we have no pictures to prove it..

We visited baby Justin today. Justin is finally home! He is so tiny and cute! It seems like he is a pretty good baby so far according to Huei and Julia. Melissa was very excited when she heard that we are going to see Justin, and she was completely fine with Mommy holding Justin! It seems like she fully understands that she is the Big Sister!
