Happy Birthday to Uncle Oliver

Aunt Sally and Uncle Oliver came to visit us this weekend. Melissa was so excited to see them. We also celebrated Uncle Oliver's birthday. Mommy and Aunt Sally made a vegan chocolate cake instead of buying cake from the bakery this time. Everyone loves the cake! Thanks to Mina for the delicious cake recipe! It's amazing that the cake still tastes so yummy even though there's no butter and no egg.

Trip to LA (Part 3)

During our trip to LA, we also visited John's cousin, aunt, and uncle. We spent a wonderful afternoon at Mina's place. She prepared delicious dinner and kept Melissa entertained the whole time. Melissa also got a lot of goodies from Aunt Mina. Thanks so much for hosting the dinner, Mina and John! It was great seeing the family, and we can't wait to do that again!

Trip to LA (Part 2)

We went to Getty's Museum in LA the second day of the trip. It is a very beautiful and unique place. Melissa really enjoyed taking the train to the Getty's Museum. She couldn't stop smiling! Thanks to Aunt Susan and Aunt Anna for taking great photos and videos for us!

Trip to LA (Part 1)

We drove down to LA for John's MBA graduation last weekend. Grandma Alice, Aunt Susan, and Aunt Anna also came with us. Aunt Marina and Uncle Dave joined us during the graduation ceremony. We had such a great time. UCLA has a beautiful campus, which was a nice surprise to me. John is in the top 15% of the class. We are so proud of you, Daddy! No more flying down to LA for classes, which means Daddy can spend more time with us on the weekend, YAY!!!
